Postnatal Yoga
Your body has done something extraordinary and now it deserves time, patience and gentle rebuilding. My classes offers a safe, steady way to reintroduce movement after birth, supporting both physical recovery and release of emotions through breath work.
This is not about “getting your body back.” It is about honouring the body you are in now.
Postnatal yoga can gently support you to:
• Rebuild deep core strength with awareness
• Restore and rehabilitate the pelvic floor
• Ease tight shoulders, neck and back from feeding and holding your baby
• Improve mobility and gently rebuild strength
• Boost energy and support your mood
• Encourage rest and relaxation
• Soothe anxiety and overwhelm
• Reconnect with your body after pregnancy and birth
My postnatal classes combine mindful strengthening, gentle mobility, breathwork and nervous-system regulation, with a focus on functional movement that supports you in everyday life as a new parent.
Each session is guided by what you need that day. Your body has moved through pregnancy and birth — physically, hormonally and emotionally — and this space is here to support that full transition into parenthood.
Breathwork remains at the heart of my teaching. It can help to calm the nervous system, steady busy thoughts and give you a moment to simply pause.
Your baby is very welcome. If you need to stop to feed, cuddle, change a nappy or settle your baby, that's absolutely fine. There is no pressure to keep up and no expectation that your baby behaves in a particular way.
Whether you're new to yoga or returning to your practice after birth, you are welcome exactly as you are.
